Development of Norcross Georgia

Norcross GA is a city in the state of Georgia that has some rich history and many historic areas, in fact Norcross Georgia is one of the most historical areas that can be found in the state of Georgia. Norcross GA is also a city in Georgia that has a wonderful downtown area that is serviced by the Norcross Georgia Downtown Development Authority. This office is responsible for many of the tourist attraction of the downtown area as well as development of many of the buildings and layout of the downtown area. The mission of this department is to help with historical preservation and also to promote the growth of the downtown area from an economic standpoint. This mission encourages such jobs as correcting deterioration of the historical landmarks of downtown Norcross GA through working with other departments of Norcross GA government as well as the people of this city in Georgia. The efforts to restore many of the historical buildings in Norcross can not be accomplished without significant help from the public including donations from organizations of the public. The historical renovations are necessary to bring revitalization to the downtown area as well as to promote economic progress and attract businesses that service all of the needs of the people of Norcross Georgia.

The Downtown Development Authority of Norcross GA works on various projects for the downtown area and has many in the makings to make the downtown area better. This includes the making of Lillian Webb Park. The park is named after the Mayor Emeritus Lillian Webb and is seen as a wonder in terms of engineering by many. The groundwork of the park was laid by blasting through much subterranean granite and the plan for the park includes the incorporation of a series of beautiful fountains that should help to bring many more visitors to the downtown area of Norcross.
